Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy

Heal the roots. Reclaim your sense of self.

You might be the one who holds it all together—the strong one, the thoughtful one, the responsible one. But under the surface, there may be a quiet exhaustion. A sense of disconnection, anxiety, or self-doubt you can’t quite explain.

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about gently understanding what’s beneath the surface. Together, we explore your emotional world with compassion and curiosity, so you can begin to feel more present, connected, and free to be fully yourself.

Through an integrative approach that includes Emotionally Focused Therapy, Parts Work (IFS), mindfulness, and nervous system awareness, we’ll begin to untangle the patterns that keep you stuck—and help you build a more grounded, compassionate relationship with yourself.

You might be wondering:

  • Why do I feel so anxious, even when nothing’s “wrong”?

  • Why do I struggle to say no or ask for what I need?

  • Why do I keep repeating the same patterns in relationships?

  • Why do I feel so overwhelmed, stuck, or alone?

  • Will I ever feel good enough—or safe to just be myself?

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you experience yourself in a new way: more connected, more regulated, more free to be who you are without fear.

What We’ll Explore Together

In our work, we’ll go beneath the behaviors, symptoms, and strategies to get to the heart of what’s really going on. Our work together might include:

  • Understanding emotional injuries and attachment experiences that shaped how you relate to others (and yourself)
  • Exploring survival strategies like perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional caretaking, or overthinking
  • Getting to know the different parts of you—especially the ones that are working hard to keep you safe
  • Working with your nervous system to notice how stress and safety show up in your body
  • Tuning into your core needs and emotions with more clarity and self-compassion
  • Building a deeper sense of safety, regulation, and self-trust so you can live and relate with more freedom

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect, and begin to heal—at your own pace.
